A Rough Start
Perhaps she would have waited until spring if she knew that, in just a few weeks, the blizzard of ’78 would hit.
The snow that blanketed Dayton paled only to the flurry of interest Karen received from companies interested in having her deliver corporate mail from their Post Office Boxes.
Labeling, sorting and data processing were soon added to the delivery services which made earlyexpress a reliable partner for many companies in need of improving efficiencies and reducing costs.
As time passed, more and more satisfied customers urged earlyexpress to manage a bigger part of their direct mail printing, packaging and sorting needs.

earlyexpress’ strategic decision to add digital printing to their growing list of services has driven the Company in new and exciting directions.
These Days
Karen’s daughter, Cindy Woodward, Marketing graduate of The Ohio State University, now runs the company. Very creative graphic designers were added to the team in 2002. Armed with know-how and the physical ability to offer complete end-to-end direct marketing solutions, earlyexpress created its SmartMarketing offering.
